Mehdi Annassi, Bernard Hage (The Art of Boo) and Václav Šlajch all have one thing in common. They have played the role of artist-in-residence with LICAF in either Kendal or Bowness-on-Windermere over the past 18 months, all producing original work as a result.

Mehdi has created stunning site-specific murals, Bernard has created a brilliant giant one-page comic ‘The Philosopher’ about a philosopher’s walk in Kendal and Václav has created a fantastic short comic called ‘Just Another Day in Cumbria’ set at Windermere Jetty Museum.
