Big Brown Eyes Collective

Big Brown Eyes is a collective of three sisters: Emily, Karis and Freya Lambert.

Founded in 2015, they’ve been stall-holding at LICAF for three years running now!

Big Brown Eyes specialises in small-press indie comics, zines and illustrated jewellery, which we sell in shops and fairs across the UK.

Each Lambert sister uses narrative illustration to explore different perspectives on daily interactions, travel and folklore using varying techniques from digital collage to ink painting.

Their work is unified in its lively and colourful style and relatable sense of humour.

The collective supports other emerging creators from across the UK and beyond by publishing a group anthology annually.

This year, their new book Bloom will be a twist on their usual anthology, exploring the theme ‘coming of age’ through a diverse collection of work.

Watch out for the new comics debuting at LICAF!
