Sean Phillips
One of the most successful and long-running collaborations of recent times is the one between Sean and Ed Brubaker, masters of the noir and crime genres. Described as a phenomenon and phenomenal it is a pleasure and honour to welcome Sean to LICAF once more as a founder patron.
Drawing comics professionally since the age of fifteen, Eisner award-winning Sean Phillips has worked for all the major publishers.
Since drawing Sleeper, Hellblazer, Batman, X-Men, Marvel Zombies, and Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, Sean has concentrated on creator-owned books including Criminal, Incognito, Seven Psychopaths and Fatale.
Sean has collaborated with Ed Brubaker on The Fade Out and Destroy all Monsters.
Destroy all Monsters was recently nominated for an Eisner Award.
He lives in the Lake District in the UK with his wife and three sons.
