Introducing our new online colouring with artwork from LICAF 2019 by Junko Mizuno!

Junko Mizuno

Festival guest in 2014 & 2019

Having grown up in Tokyo, Junko Mizuno is a self- taught artist recognized for her unique visual iconography of powerful and often sexy women.
Much of Junko’s art is based on Japanese pop culture from ‘70s and ‘80s with inspiration stemming from fetish, folk, religious, psychedelic, pin-up and advertising art, alongside vintage toys, fashion, comic, food, nature, movies, TV shows, video games.

Inko Ai Takita

Inko Ai Takita, also known just as Inko, is a UK based Japanese manga artist / illustrator. Her visual works often imply crossovers of modern & traditional Eastern and Western cultures were built from her studies at Kyoto Zokei University of Art and Design in Japan and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the UK.

Chie Kutsuwada

Chie Kutsuwada was born and brought up in Japan. After graduating Royal College of Art, now she lives and works in Brighton as a manga artist. She also attends some manga-related events and runs manga workshops at schools, libraries, and museums around UK, such as British Libraries and Victoria and Albert Museum.
