Nobody expects the Spanish Ink submission! But Bruno Redondo and Jorge Fornés are leaders in a new wave of Iberian artists who have literally redrawn the map of traditional comic-book characters. Bruno has won multiple Eisner awards for his unique and inspired takes on Batman, Suicide Squad and Nightwing. Jorge has brought his distinctive Noir-style vision to such characters as Spider-Man, Daredevil and even Rorschach, who first featured in Watchmen.
In this session, they will draw live, talk about their work, and reveal how you set about reimagining a character that’s been around for decades.
