Produced by the Lakes International Comic Art Festival in partnership with the British Council and other funding bodies, the exhibition is the first ever of Palestinian comic art to be developed and organised by Palestinian creators themselves.

2024 marks the sixtieth anniversary of Doctor Who appearing in comics. This exhibition celebrates every Doctor, from the classic TV Comic strips and “The Daleks”, which ran in TV Century 21, to the modern stories published by Doctor Who Magazine.

Dickie was created by Pieter de Poortere more than 20 years ago. He’s the ultimate loser, naive and a bit stupid, Dickie that is not Pieter! Despite this, he manages to survive on his own, thanks to both his opportunism and cowardice.
