Stephen L. Holland announced as new Comics Laureate at LICAF Live
Stephen L. Holland, the co-owner, co-manager and sole curator of Page 45, the European-style comic shop in Nottingham, who's also a freelance artist and is a fervent champion for quality and diversity in comics, was announced as the new Comics Laureate at the Lakes International Comic Art Festivalearlier this evening, Friday 9th October 2020.
Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition Winner to be announced at #LicafLive
The winner of the Myriad First Graphic Novel Competition will be announced during #LicafLive, this year’s free online Lakes International Comic Art Festival, taking place this weekend.
The announcement will be made at 3.00pm on Sunday 11th October, as part of three days of celebrating the comics form, normally taking place in Kendal each year but moved online this year in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
