Our Festival has played host to creators of many nations - and this year, the Scots will be among the nations in the spotlight over the weekend in October.

The town’s Ruskins pub will host a one day event on Sunday 15th July 2018, with a view to having a full weekend Festival in 2019.

‘Playing for a Draw’ is a new exhibition showcasing the history and creativity of football comics and illustration across the world. The exhibition at the National Football Museum, Manchester opens on July 5 and runs until September 2. From September the exhibition will go on tour as well as being part of the Lakes International Comic Art Festival, October 12–14.
