Festival patron Mary Talbot new Visiting Professor of Graphic Writing at Lancaster University
Award-winning author Mary Talbot, a former Lancaster University student, patron and one of the founders of the popular Lakes International Comic Art Festival, has returned to Lancaster to take up a role focusing on the dynamics and benefits of comics storytelling.
"Ten Years to Save the World" comic exhibition arrives in MediaCity
The free Ten Years to Save the World exhibition has opened at MediaCity, Salford, running until 14th January 2022, a showcase of comic artwork and storytelling in response to the climate crisis by leading comic artists in the UK and the Philippines.
